Response from TripIt

So the first concrete response I’ve had to the BAEC hack has come from TripIt.

I received the following email from the today:

“We take security very seriously, and thank you for your patience as we took the steps necessary to now be able to confirm to you that our security team has verified the British Airways issue was not related to TripIt.”

Now just waiting for BA to actually say something useful, and not their wishy washy response so far!

Anyone else found any evidence to point to a cause?
